Mr. Larsen, an economic geologist, more than 35 years of experience in the oil and gas natural resources industry including minerals industries in senior management roles in exploration, development, production and management with private and public companies as well as tenures with international consulting organizations. During his career, he has devoted more than 20 years in senior management positions with small and mid-sized natural resource companies.
Mr. Larsen has managed oil and gas development operations off-shore in the Gulf of Mexico and on-shore in Texas and Oklahoma in private and in the Midwestern states for more than 10 years. He has concentrated on the energy business for more than 20 years.
During this period he managed projects directed toward exploration and development in coal oil and gas and minerals in North America, Latin America and North Africa. Mr. Larsen has functioned as a CEO with public and non-public corporations focused on the energy and natural resources business. Currently he is a CEO of a private Delaware Corporation, incorporated in 2006 as Standard Energy Company Inc. solely to hold a large coal and coal bed methane project in West Virginia. Recently, Standard has made plans to develop the West Virginia project in order to take advantage of the tremendous growth in the energy (natural gas) business in the Northern Appalachian of the Eastern US. He is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists, the American Association of Professional Geologists, the Society of American Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration Inc. Mr. Larsen holds a B.Sc. in geology from SUNY-Buffalo/Brockport and a M.Sc. degree in geology from the University of Tennessee.
Troy Koerner has over 20 years of diverse finance experience. He is currently a Director in the Risk Management department of E*TRADE Financial; however, Troy previously worked on the wholesale energy trading desk at Pepco Energy Services, in equity research at Lehman Brothers and on the fixed income trading desk at JPMorgan. In addition, Troy has an MBA from Emory University and a BS in finance from Virginia Tech.
Richard Kaiser has served as President of YES INTERNATIONAL since July 1991, a full service investor relations and venture capital firm. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics from Oakland University-Michigan State University Honors College. He lived and worked as a foreign trade zone specialist for Daimler-Benz, in Stuttgart, Germany, we he was in charge of $100M movement of international parts for automotive production at different production location worldwide. He has been involved as a mining economist since 1992, where he specialized on the fundamental economics of minable deposits. In 1994, he lived in Vancouver, B.C. where he was a director of Corporate Communications for Farrell Financial with responsibilities in developing public relations campaigns for mining companies. For more than 20 years Mr. Kaiser has been active in public relations, investor relations, venture capital, and structure financings for publicly traded companies. He is a US Government contractor as a US SEC EDGAR FILING AGENT and owns YES NEWS NOW, a press release distribution service for both public and private companies. He is married and has 7 children.
Mr. Larsen has been employed in the natural resources industry for more than 5 years involved in commodity marketing support, developing and scheduling production distrubution contracts and contacts in the marketing of products to the market place. He has also functioned as an operations project manager, managing the day to day activities of the Corporation. He has supervised and managed project development and assisted the engineering staff to help implement and maintain development activities and completion scheduling of development projects. He has worked closely with geotechnical staff and mining engineering to implement and maintain the scheduling of the project development completion schedules. Mr. Larsen has also maintained and developed coordination and scheduling of contractor support for each phase of the project development.
Mr. Larsen has a technical and educational background with Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in communications and public relations.
